EtherWAN EL2242-BT PoE media converter is compact, industrial hardened for outdoor use, and ready for DIN-rail mounting. Using the latest IEEE 802.3bt PoE technology providing up to 90W power output and an 100/1000 SFP Slot, the EL2242-BT provides the solution required to integrate remote PoE devices such as IP cameras, LED lights, wireless access point, and other network devices into non-PoE networks for reliable operation even in harsh environments.

The EL2242-BT PoE media converter provides flexibility, speed, and reliability for networks in urban infrastructures used for high-definition surveillance and encrypted security systems, that operate in the harsh conditions of wastewater facilities, power plants, intelligent transportation systems, data centers, border protection, and other areas where connectivity is crucial.

With hardened specifications, the EL2242-BT is designed to operate at -40°C to 75°C (-40°F to 167°F) in harsh environments, where high ESD, shock, and vibration may be present.
