The EtherWAN EL2211-41U connects copper Ethernet equipment to a multimode fiber network. It combines one RJ45 Ethernet port with a built-in SC fiber port operating at 1310nm, providing fiber connectivity for commercial buildings and enterprise networks.

The copper port automatically negotiates 10/100/1000 Mbps connections. Selectable Link Fault Pass Through (LFPT) helps connected equipment detect a failed link, while support for jumbo frames up to 9K bytes accommodates larger Ethernet frames.
