The EtherWAN EW75000-08 provides wireless Ethernet connectivity for industrial sites, outdoor surveillance, transportation systems, and utility networks. Its omnidirectional antennas provide coverage around the unit, supporting connections to compatible wireless equipment in multiple directions.

Use it as a central access point for compatible remote wireless units or as part of a configured point-to-point or point-to-multipoint network. A Gigabit Ethernet PoE connection carries power and network data through one cable, while the weather-resistant enclosure supports wall or pole mounting.

How is the EW75000-08 different from the EASYLINK-PRO-US?
The EW75000-08 is an individual 867 Mbps wireless access point with omnidirectional antennas. To connect a remote location, pair it with an EW75000-13MP wireless bridge unit, sold separately and configured to communicate with the access point. The EASYLINK-PRO-US includes two preconfigured directional units, power accessories, and wireless link rates up to 2400 Mbps, making it easier to connect two locations.

What do omnidirectional antennas do?
Omnidirectional antennas provide coverage around the access point rather than concentrating the signal in one narrow direction. This can support connections to multiple compatible remote units positioned around a central location. Coverage depends on antenna placement, obstructions, interference, and the equipment at the other end.

How does the EW75000-08 connect to my Ethernet switch?
An Ethernet cable connects the access point to your network and supplies PoE power. Use a compatible PoE Ethernet switch, or connect a suitable PoE injector between a non-PoE switch and the access point. Use outdoor-rated cabling where exposed to weather and install the cable gland correctly.

Is this a preconfigured two-unit wireless bridge kit?
No. The EW75000-08 is an individual wireless access point. A connection to another location requires compatible wireless equipment at the other end and appropriate configuration. The package includes the access point, antennas, mounting hardware, and quick installation guide.
